Juicy and Tender Boston Butt Recipe
Boston Butt (we usually do a 4-5 lb one for two of us)
Cover butt with seasoning and wrap in aluminum foil. Place in oven safe dish.
Bake in oven at 350 degrees 2 to 2 1/2 hours (for 4-5 lbs)
Remove from oven and re-apply seasoning.
Place on grill and grill for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until done. (we use a charcoal grill and add pecan or apple wood – this gives it the smoked, grilled taste)
We usually serve with baked beans, grilled corn on-the-cob, grilled onion and cole slaw. You can also chop the butt and add barbeque sauce – serve as sandwiches Super easy if you are having a get-together and gives you time to spend with your guest while it’s cooking!
PLEASE NOTE: Baking and grilling time will vary for larger butts – adjust your times.
