The weather is turning cool here, so it is time for chili and soup recipes! I have to say, I usually cook chili in a pot on the stove, but my friend over at Having Fun Saving has sent us a Crock Pot Chili recipe that sounds wonderful and healthy (uses turkey burger) at the same time! It is super easy and is cooked in a crock pot. So, you can put it on to cook in the morning and come home to some awesome aromas and your supper cooked too!
1 lb. Turkey burger
1 package of Chili seasoning
1 can Brooks Chili Hot Beans
1 large can Tomato sauce
1 can of Chili flavored tomatoes
a touch of cinnamon
Just put it all in the crock pot and let it cook all day! You will come home to a yummy smelling house!!!
I don’t know about you guys, but I like to top mine with some shredded cheddar cheese
Oh, and leftover chili taste even better the 2nd day!
