With Spring on it’s way, hopefully soon, I have been planning a few outside projects. Of course there is always the garden and the flower bed to plan out. But, each year, I like to add a few new flowers, shrubs or rose bushes. I also love to add new sitting places where I can sit, reflect and listen to the nature around me. Since we have a swing on the left side of the house, I wanted to add a wooden bench to provide a sitting area on the right side of our house.
I had been looking at different wooden benches and their prices when I received the opportunity to review a Teak Bench from Teak Closeouts! I was literally drooling! Out of all the woods, Teak wood is one the most sought after woods for yard furniture because it is a hardwood that will last forever. It will withstand season changes, weather, insects and bacteria!
Of course I said yes! Teak Closeouts sent me their 48″ Teak Sumbawa Bench to try out. I couldn’t hardly wait until it arrived!
The Teak bench arrived well packaged and had 4 major components for us to put together. It also came with complete instructions, even though it’s really self explanatory to put the Teak bench together. It only took us about 20 minutes from start to finish! Basically, it only requires you attach the arms to the seat and back with the bolts provided. Quick and simple!
The bench looks terrific! The bench is sanded really smooth, showing the lovely natural grain of the wood. The Teak Bench is also very well made and solid! I wish it was Spring so you could see the Teak bench in it’s full splendor with the trees and flowers bloomed out. But, Mother Nature is not cooperating right now. That’s alright too. It’s always fun to sit and daydream of Spring with the blooming flowers and the smell of fresh cut grass!
I could hardly believe the 48″ Teak Sumbawa Bench was listed for less than $200 from Teak Closeouts! From my searching for wooden benches, you can easily pay double and more for this type of Teak Bench elsewhere!! So what’s the deal? The bench I received is what they call ‘middle quality’. For the life of me, I have not found what causes it to be middle quality yet. My best analogy would be like us ladies shopping or buying irregulars on clothing, sheets or towels. Most of the time, you cannot find what makes it irregular!
The Teak Bench is quality wood, looks SUPER nice and will last a lifetime. The difference is – from Teak Closeouts it cost a lot less, making it extremely affordable! It’s a great product at a discount price. Plus, they have a satisfaction guaranteed policy!
If you are planning on adding seating to your yard or garden, I would highly recommend Teak Closeouts! They have more than just benches, such as chairs, tables and patio sets! Maybe you would love to sit and enjoy the flowers. Maybe you would love to have your morning coffee listening to the birds and nature. Or, perhaps you would like to unwind in the afternoon and just watch the world go by. Whatever the reason, the Teak Bench is a great way to do that and would make a great addition to any yard! Most importantly, Teak Closeouts won’t totally ding your pocket book or make you pass out with sticker shock!
If you are in the market, I highly recommend checking Teak Closeouts for all your lawn furniture needs! I love the products and the service is fast and courteous!
