Let’s get started making your Easy Scrap Fabric Bracelet!
Assorted bracelets (or bangles) – if you don’t already have some, check with your local dollar store or thrift store (just inexpensive plastic bangles will work)
Hot glue and glue gun
1. Start by cutting, or tearing, the fabric into approximate 1 inch strips. If there are any frayed threads, cut or remove them.
2. Dab a bit of glue on the end of the strip of fabric. Then, press the dab of glue to the INSIDE of the bangle. Allow the glue to dry well before proceeding.
4. Once you have the bracelet completely wrapped, cut off any remaining fabric making sure it will end on the inside of the bracelet. Add a bit of glue to the end of the strip and press it to the inside of the bangle. By making sure you start and end on the inside of the bracelet, your starting point and ending point won’t be visible on the outside of your bracelet.
5. Optional: If there are any frays visable, you can take scissors and remove them. However, if you like the frayed look, you can just leave them
Your scrap fabric bracelet is finished and ready to be worn!
