Last week I told you how much we loved Tyson® for quick delicious meals and also about an exciting opportunity to do something WONDERFUL for your local school. With the Tyson Project A+™ program, our school has a chance to earn up to $12,000 from Tyson®! Can you imagine what they could do with $12,000? (Complete a renovation project, purchase supplies for the classrooms, or even upgrade their technology labs!)
I want to help our schools in anyway I can and lucky for us just by using our favorite Tyson® products for a few of our go-to quick meals, we can do our part in the Tyson Project A+™ project! We have several go-to meals made from Tyson® Chicken Nuggets and that makes them a standby to have in my freezer! These days, who doesn’t have a hectic schedule? There is work, school, homework, sports activities, etc, which makes having a way of putting a quick delicious meal on the table in under 30 minutes priceless!
Tyson® Chicken Nuggets are great served with our favorite dips such as ketchup, honey mustard, and Ranch dressing. They are also delicious served in a salad, but our favorite way to serve them is by making delicious hearty Chicken Wraps! It’s a super easy recipe that will enable you to have a delicious meal on the table in only a matter of minutes! Here’s how you make them:
Chicken Wraps featuring Tyson® Chicken Nuggets
Tyson® Chicken Nuggets – cooked
lettuce – chopped or torn
tomatoes – cubed
dressing of choice (we like Ranch dressing and taco sauce)
Starting by warming the tortillas and adding 5-6 cooked chicken nuggets to each one.
Add the chopped lettuce and cubed tomatoes. Then, top with shredded cheese and roll into a wrap.
Serve alone or with a side of chips for an easy delicious meal! YUM!
Why not try this delicious recipe and help your school at the same time by picking up a bag of Tyson® Chicken Nuggets today? Make sure to look for the specially marked products. Then, just clip and collect Tyson Project A+™ labels from the Tyson® participating packages. For every label submitted, Tyson will give the school cash and the school can use the money for whatever it needs. See an example of where to find the label below and learn more HERE.

If I could, I would nominate my entire state to receive the Tyson Project A+ head start from Walmart. This past year, Arkansas received a D+ ranking for the Report Card on American Education. Eight other states joined us at this level, with only one state falling below with a standard D. I have no idea how this happened, but it breaks my heart for my granddaughter and the other children in our community.
Since I can’t nominate the entire state, I have chosen Central Elementary in Forrest City, Arkansas. I believe this school is deserving of a head start because a very large percentage of the children participate in the subsidized meal program. To me, this is a large indicator that they need more funding and greater opportunities to invest in the children. Low income children need to be exposed to as many educational resources as possible at school because they are likely not being afforded them at home.
What school will you be nominating?
Tell me why in the comments below!
