Here at Southern Krazed we believe in being prepared. Whether it’s to weather out a storm, packing for a vacation, including an umbrella in our purse in case of rain or researching facts about a potential business venture, you can never be too prepared to face the challenges ahead. This is the approach we’ve taken with our Granddaughter, Kailey, and her schooling. While most of the summer has been spent enjoying the time away from school, we have also been putting in a little extra practice time here and there with subjects like her reading and mathematics. This was made so much easier thanks to a partnership with Blue Orange Games.

When asked which one to play first, Kailey chose the Super Genius addition game. Even at her early age, Math is her favorite thing! I always loved Math too so maybe she is going to take after me
She was anxious to get started playing. To her it was just a fun game. To me it was not only fun, but a way to reinforce her math skills!
After a good while of playing the Super Genius Addition game, she wanted to move on and play another game.
Next up, she wanted to try her hand at the Super Genius Reading game. Kailey just turned 6 and reading is not her favorite subject, but one she needs extra practice and help.
She got the game out on the table and waited anxiously to play!
I really loved this game for her because even though just in kindergarten, she was having a bit of trouble with her reading skills and keeping up with the level she should be at. We started with the Super Genius Reading 1 and I felt it was really helpful in reinforcing letters and words for her! It made learning fun and she enjoyed it! Just maybe we can turn her thoughts around to loving to read!
We then moved on to another game. She chose the Super Genius First Words. The First Words game is helpful in learning to identify words, which in turn also helps with her reading skills.
For now, we have put the Super Genius Multiplication game up. She is not quite ready for this one at her age, but we will probably get there this school year. We are prepared with our fun game for extra help!
All the Blue Orange Games Super Genius Games are a huge hit with Kailey and us! She loves playing and we love the educational reinforcement the games provide. Being able to take time out of my busy day and play these learning games with my granddaughter is a fun experience. Kailey has steadily been improving her reading and math skills since we began playing these wonderful matching games from Blue Orange! We highly recommend the Super Genius Games collection!
