We woke up to snow today! It’s pretty, but it sure is cold! It’s the perfect day for a hot delicious cup of hot cocoa! There is something comforting about curling up in a soft blanket with a delicious mug of chocolatey goodness. What can make it even better, you ask? For me, my favorite candy bar is a Butter Finger so I was thinking why not make a super-duper indulgent treat! This yummy Butter Finger Hot Cocoa hits the spot! It leaves me feeling instantly warmed, comforted, and feeling extra spoiled. It doesn’t hurt to splurge every now and again does it? Butter Finger Hot Cocoa
4 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 C chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 mini Butter Finger candy bars
Combine all ingredients in a pot.
Cook on medium heat, stirring until the chocolate chips are melted.
Add the unwrapped mini Butter Finger candy bars.
Stirring occasionally until the Butter Fingers have blended into hot cocoa for about 30 minutes.
Enjoy in large cups. Don’t forget your cozy blanket
