When it comes to get-togethers sometimes you want to add a little flair to the table. I have just the thing! Instead of piles of silverware thrown haphazard on the table for guest to pick up, why not a pretty display? This DIY Kitchen Utensil Holder is super easy to make and looks so adorable! I made three of them to hold the spoons, forks, and knives.
To make, all I needed were a few mason jars, decorative string and chalkboard tags. The end result is a lovely display of table pieces that compliment the table setting. They are great for family get-togethers, backyard barbeques, or just fun for the kitchen counter if you are short on drawer space!
DIY Kitchen Utensil Holder
3 Mason jars
twine, yarn or string
Die cuts (found these at Hobby Lobby, they had all kinds of shapes) or you could use card stock/ construction paper and cut out shapes of your choosing
Put the twine through the hole in the die cuts, or black paper.
Make sure the twine is long enough to be wrapped around the neck of the jar a few times.
Tie a double knot near the die cut and cut the twine.
Write Spoons, Forks, Knives on three of the die cuts with chalk.
This fun DIY Kitchen Utensil Holder craft is super easy to customize for any event! For different holidays, a colorful ribbon can be added along with the twine. You can also get creative with the die cuts!
