Tree Hut Olive & Shea Moisturizing Lotion Review

I’m not sure about you ladies, but I am always trying new lotions. I am constantly searching for one that will really, and I mean “really”, help with dry flaky skin issues. Well, recently I received a chance to try out a tube of Tree Hut Olive & Shea Extra-Rich Moisturizing Lotion.

Tree Hut Olive & Shea Moisturizing Lotion

For me, and probably most of you, the first test it must pass is the smell! I don’t like lotions that have a really strong annoying scent. I had received Tree Hut’s Lavender & Chamomile Extra Rich Moisturizing Lotion and really didn’t know what to expect. So, I immediately flipped the cap open and went to sniffing. The scent was instantly amazing, delicious and relaxing all rolled together! It was a light and fresh scent that was not heavy or stuffy.

The second test a lotion must pass is how it feels on the skin. I mean after all, even if it smells wonderful I don’t want to feel like a greased pig! So, I immediately expressed a dallop out in my hands and rubbed it in. Here again, the Tree Hut Olive & Shea lotion came through with shining colors! The rich lotion absorbed quickly, leaving my skin feeling smooth and soft, without a greasy after feel. It actually left, how do I say this – a silky feel to my hands.

It had made my initial cuts, but I wanted to see how it would work on my very dry skin problem. I am sure there are ladies somewhere that can relate. My legs are extra dry due to all the shaving and let’s face it, to many years suntanning. On top of flaky legs, I get pimply pumps on the back of my arms from dry skin. So now that I sound downright hideous, let me tell you how it worked!

I always apply lotion from head to toe after bathing, so I started using the Tree Hut Extra Rich Moisturizing Lotion as my lotion of choice. My first thought was that it was like having a spa experience because of the light delicate fragrance along with the silky smoothing feel of the lotion! It was pure bliss! But, what I did not expect was for my dry flaky legs to start looking and feeling more supple without the flakes! Yes, you read that right! The flaky skin was disappearing!

Tree Hut Olive & Shea Extra Rich Moisturizing Lotion contains certified organic olive oil and shea butter. The olive oil is rich in all kinds of nutrients, antioxidants, and vitamins. It also includes anti-inflammatory, moisturizing, healing and regenerating properties. The organic shea butter is skin repairing and moisturizing, anti-aging, and promotes elasticity. On top of this, it contains lavender and chamomile extracts, which calm and heal the skin.

Being cruelty free is also important to me. The Tree Hut Moisturizing Lotion is cruelty free, paraben free, no formaldehyde donors and made in the USA! What’s not to love?!

Besides the Extra-Rich Moisturizing Lotion, they offer Shea Body Butters, Shea Sugar Body Scrubs and Shea Moisturizing Shower Wash.

Tree Hut Olive & Shea Moisturizing Lotion

Tree Hut offers a variety of scents such as: Almond & Honey, Amazon Pequi, Brazilian Nut, Coconut Lime, Hawaiian Kukui, Lavender & Chamomile, Original Shea and Tropical Mango.

I am loving the Tree hut Olive & Shea extra rich moisturizing lotion and fully intend to try the whole line for a full out spa adventure! It smells delicious, leaves skin feeling silky soft and helps restore healthy radiant skin! Tree Hut products are available in several locations. Check out the Tree Hut website for this, and other, amazing Tree Hut products. You can also fan them on Facebook, follow them on Twitter or subscribe to Tree Hut on YouTube to stay up to date on all the latest products.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
