The TheraPearl Neck Wrap can be used cold by chilling, or freezing, for a couple of hours. It can also be used hot, simply by heating in the microwave for a few seconds. It is twistable and bendable, even when frozen! My doctor has always recommended 20 minutes of cold to help with pain and any inflammation of the joints. He also recommends heat for 20 minutes to calm the muscle spasms. The TheraPearl Neck Wrap stays cold for the 20 minutes. When heated, it retains it’s heat for 20 minutes. It also has no drips, unlike ice packs and other cold packs.
