I have to admit when I heard of Woolzies Dryer Balls I was just out right curious. I had never heard of such a thing. You know I had to get in line to try them out! Like most people, I normally use fabric softener of some form or another. I like my clothes soft and I detest static cling! But, fabric softener being what it is has chemicals and cost money. Well, I also like saving money – a lot! I have also been trying to do my part on being earth friendly. So, what are Woolzies Dryer Balls?
Woolzies are 100% pure new zealand wool dryer balls that do everything that conventional fabric softeners do! But, that’s not all! I love the fact they reduce drying time by 25%! Woolzies Dryer Balls will help save money on the utility bill! Not only is the dryer not running as long, the house isn’t getting heated up with dryer heat, causing the air to kick on! Not only do we not have to use fabric softener, we can also save on the monthly utility bill. Plus, they reduce wrinkling!!!! I am all over these!!!
Woolzies last for at least 1,000 loads or they are money back guaranteed! Think of all the fabric softener and drying time that would save! Where can you go wrong with that?
Oh, and with all my allergies, I have to be careful with products I use. That is one of the first things I think about with a new laundry product. After all, I don’t want to be itching and scratching. Well, Woolzies Dryer Balls have no chemicals involved and are hypoallergenic, so they are perfectly safe even for people with wool sensitivities! They passed my multitude of allergies with flying colors!
I took a picture of one in my hand, so you could get an idea of the size of them. When I dry a load, I throw all 6 balls in and let it go. The first time, I was a little worried that it would sound like drums in there, but I am glad to say they don’t! It’s actually just a very mild thumping sound. For me, I have crossed the fabric softener off my shopping list! WOOT!!!
So, would you like a more eco-friendly and chemical free way to soften and reduce wrinkles in your clothes? How about saving money on fabric softener and utilities in the process? I can see these little jewels paying for themselves fairly quickly! Plus, there is no chemicals involved making them totally earth friendly! Actually, I would have to say people friendly too. Who really likes wearing chemicals?!

Glad to hear a good review for these. I’ve used the (nylon? plastic?) other type of dryer balls, and like them, but one is lost-so I need something new.

I made my own felted wool dryer balls a few months from wool roving yarn. Very easy, much cheaper than buying them pre-made, and I like diy projects anyway. However, if I hadn’t made my own, I’d be all over these! Lol.
