A great recipe to have to make a staple for the pantry. I love onion soup mix on my roasts, too and in so many other soups.

I will definitely have to do this in the winter time. We actually use the onion soup as a base to turkey soup. Which is literally just onion soup (we drain out the onions before the meat is put in), turkey (leg or thigh meat), and egg noodles. Sounds boring but sooooo amazing! and of course a lot of pepper. Worth trying!

Thanks for sharing – I’ll be trying that as I hate the store bought with all the add junk and possible MSG with the new labeling system. Plus it’s usually so costly.
