Ever since I was a child I have had a love hate relationship with my hair. My hair is super thick, extremely curly, and has a baby fine texture. It’s also super soft to the touch. I spent my high school years trying to straighten it out, as that was the style back then. Then, when curls finally became the rage, I thought, oh yes! I can do this. However, add in a little humidty or even sweat, and my curls don’t stay just curls. Any type of humidity, whatsoever, will cause some of the strains to coil up even tighter, while others seem to just go limp. Along with this, is the fuzzy frizzies, as I call them. My hair takes on a mind of it’s own! It gets fatter and fatter, with some curls kinked and others limp and it looks like a nappy mess! After using nuNAAT’s Real Me Curl-to-Coil Collection for a few weeks, my hair is definitely more manageable. The curls actual stay curls, without the added frizz. I can blow it out a little bit, without it frizzing, into looser curls. I won’t say they are gone all-together, but as you can see there are a lot less “fuzzy”. I could probably use a little more of the Perfect Do Pomade and coral those loose hairs in, but I try not use a lot of extra product in my hair.
However, the Perfect Do Pomade does great when I put my hair up. Most days, it’s easier for me to throw my hair up in a clippy. Now, when I put it up, it looks fairly decent with loose curls instead of the usual fuzz ball on top of my head.
