As a Grandparent it has became a tradition, or right of passage, to spoil our grandchildren. Our children pretend to hate it, but indulge us as we load their little ones up with sugary confections, trinkets and knickknacks, new outfits, etc. While I do love sneaking those things to my grandbaby just as much as the next grandmother, one of my favorite things to do is supply her with fun knickknacks for her room. I absolutely love adding fun decor items to make a fun, sweet environment for my grandbaby to grow up in. What better place to look for fun decor items besides Tatutina?!

I was more than thrilled when I had a chance to work with Tatutina and go for a shopping spree on their site! I not only found totally fun and cute items for my grandbaby, but also a couple of items to spoil my daughter with! Oh my gosh! It is all so adorable, and I mean ADORABLE! The pictures on their site just does not do the items justice! You HAVE to see these items in person! Come on and let me show you my finds!

Bright Flowers Bookends

I almost squealed when I found these Bright Flowers bookends! These had my grandbaby’s name wrote all over them! The bright happy colors were perfect for her colorful bedroom! They were also perfect to display her books within easy reach for her. According to Reading Is Fundamental, one of the most important ways to cultivate a love for reading is to have books on display and within easy reach of little hands.

Kailey was tickled to death about her brightly colored bookends!

Owl Bookends

Oh my gosh look at these Owl Bookends! Cute, cute and more cute! I am having a serious thing for owls right now, so these definitely caught my eye! I’m not the only one fond of owls though. If you notice above, Kailey has owls on the curtain in her bedroom. However, when my daughter saw them – you guessed it! She wanted them too!

In the end, Kailey liked her Bright Flowers the best and let her mother have the Owl Bookends for her study. I’m happy because I got to spoil them both my girls with bright happy bookends!

Both the Owl Bookends and Bright Flowers Bookends are constructed of sturdy solid wood and they come fully constructed right out of the box. They measure 5.5″ x 3.5″ x 8″ so they’ll fit easily on bookshelves, desks or tabletops. As you can see, they are ample size and heavy enough for even your largest books. Each set also comes with a Tatuina coloring book. My daughter let my grandbaby have the coloring book from her set. She didn’t want to be quite that spoiled!

My Own Little Pink Bin

My Own Little Pink Bin is a cute smaller storage bin that caught my eye! Like most kids, Kailey has a tons of little things that gets scattered around or lost in the larger toy boxes. I also had the idea that it could possibly hold little keepsake items or even some of her costume jewelry she loves to play with.

On the inside of the My Own Little Pink Bin is a big red heart. I think that is Kailey’s favorite part!

The bins are each hand-painted, and made of solid wood. It comes full assembled upon delivery and personalized with your child’s initial so there’s no tantrum, fight-inducing mix-ups. My Own Little Pink Bin measures 8″ x 8″ x 4″.

My Own Pink (White) Bin

My Own Pink Bin is another storage bin I loved! It is larger than the My Own Little Pink Bin, measuring 8″ x 8″ x 8″. This bin is also hand-painted, made of solid wood and comes full assembled upon delivery and personalized with your child’s initial. Kailey loves this one for stashing her make believe dress-up items.

When it’s not being used for holding dress up clothes, Kailey uses it to carry around her “stuff”. Who knows what the favorite “stuff” of the day will be, but the bin makes it super easy for her to keep it all together and carry where ever she wants.

Both of the bins come with circular cutouts on each side, which makes convenient carrying handles. If you notice this bin is white. I am not quite sure what happened there, as there wasn’t a white option when we ordered, but we love the white as much as the pink!

Coffee Cup Recipe Box

I saw this adorable Coffee Cup Recipe Box and fell in love with it! It comes complete with cute dividers for easy organization. I knew my daughter would go crazy for it! She loves to cook and has recipes stashed any and every where. I was right! She latched on to it as soon as she saw it! Now she has a cute fun spot to keep all her recipe cards. She has it proudly displayed on her counter-top!

It’s solid wood construction will hold up over the years without cracking or warping, while it’s hand-painted design fits perfectly with her kitchen decor. The Coffee Cup Recipe Box measures in at 8 x 6 x 5, has a hinged lid for easy open/closing and can hold dozens of 4 x 6 recipe cards.

If you can’t tell, we were super excited over our pieces! All of the Tatutina hand painted items were so much more than we expected! The pictures on their website just does not do justice to these items! I honestly did not expect how beautiful they are. They are nice wooden pieces and the painting is so beautifully done. And, did I mention how bright and cheerful they are? Tatutina is THE place to go for amazing gift items! They are also very reasonably priced. You just can’t beat that! I am a little jealous over those owl bookends that I gave my daughter and am going to have to place my own order for a set
