Is your child heading back to school soon? As the parent, there may be ways you want to encourage your child as they head back to school. This can be hard since you’re not there to encourage them. Here are some ways you can encourage your child as they head back to school.

5 Ways to Encourage Your Child Who’s Heading Back to School
Have Breakfast Together
Instead of creating a very rushed atmosphere in the morning for your child, try having breakfast together. Wake up your child a little earlier than normal and spend time together over breakfast.
Talk About the Day
When your child gets home from school, spend some time talking about their day and what happened. They’ll want to tell you about the good and the bad, so be prepared to listen.
Make a Survival Kit for Your Student
Maybe your child needs something special during the day while they’re away. Make a survival kit for them to put in their backpack. Put a little baggie together with some friendly notes from you and maybe a treat. They’ll love that they have something from you in their backpack.

Easy French toast casserole
Bake this casserole and send sweet smells throughout the house. Brown sugar and vanilla extract provide a sweet taste, while using low-fat milk and egg substitute cuts down on fat and cholesterol. French bread with a soft crust works best because it is easier to cut, but you can substitute whatever you have in the fridge.
Putting encouraging notes in their lunch boxes may make their day!
