Emerson Creek Pottery Deep Dish Pizza Pan is a Pizza Lover’s Delight #Review #ChristmasSK15

I am a lover of pizza. You can ask my friends and family and they will tell you that for years pizza has been my go-to meal. I especially love homemade pizza and my favorite is deep dish pizza! Yes, I love a good deep dish pizza, but it’s been hard for me to find a deep dish pizza pan that I love. Well, one of my friends introduced me to Emerson Creek Pottery and they have the ultimate Herb Green Unglazed Deep Dish Pizza Pan.

The benefit of using the unglazed ceramic pan, is that the clay mimics the heat and steam-producing environment of a brick oven but at a fraction of the cost! I love the herb green color, but most of all – I love the excellent baking results! The deep dish pizza pan is 10 1/2″ wide x 2″ deep and did I mention that it is made of lead-free and cadmium-free clay?!

If you haven’t heard of Emerson Creek Pottery then you don’t know what you are missing! Let me introduce them to you and then check out the yummy deep dish pizza I cooked up in my deep dish pizza pan! YUM!

About Emerson Creek Pottery

Emerson Creek Pottery’s handcrafted ceramics are formed of clay made onsite. Each piece is hand made, hand painted, and fired in a gas kiln. Each pattern is a series of carefully planned strokes. No templates or stencils are used. The patterns are practiced and committed to memory. The artists paint the pattern again and again. Each piece is alike and yet different, like flowers in a field. All of their work is microwave and dishwasher safe, lead free and ovenproof.

Emerson Creek Pottery is an Eco-Friendly “Green” Product!

Emerson Creek Pottery truly does their part in being earth friendly! All of their products are:

  • Lead-Free
  • Made of natural, earth-friendly materials
  • Non-toxic
  • Made by humans right here in the USA
  • Shipped in recycled-fiber boxes
  • Packed in Ranpack recycled paper padding (no peanuts or bubble wrap)

Now on to the yummy goodness I cooked up…

Emerson Creek Pottery Herb Green Unglazed Deep Dish Pizza Pan featuring Chicken Bacon Ranch Deep Dish Pizza! #Review #ChristmasSK15

Chicken Bacon Ranch Deep Dish Pizza – with Gluten-Free Crust
using the Herb Green Unglazed Deep Dish Pizza Pan

I decided to make my famous Chicken Bacon Ranch Deep Dish Pizza with a gluten free crust in my Herb Green Unglazed Deep Dish Pizza Pan. It cooked the pizza evenly and every bite was delicious. My family was yumming every bite and already requesting it be added to the menu again in the same week! It was truly that delicious!

If you’re a lover of deep dish pizza, just like me, then this is a bakeware dish you need to check out. After I made my pizza, the deep dish pizza pan was super easy to clean. The only thing I did was season it with oil before using and nothing stuck at all. My pizza crust was crisp and golden, but it wasn’t hard- it was just right!

As you can see from the picture, the deep dish pizza pan helped get my pizza just right! I don’t like my pizza doughy. I like it done and a nice golden brown color. If you’ve been struggling to make the ultimate homemade pizza, you’ll want to add the Herb Green Unglazed Deep Dish Pizza Pan from Emerson Creek Pottery to your Christmas Wish list!

Purchase the Herb Green Unglazed Deep Dish Pizza Pan

I love deep dish brick oven pizza so this pizza pan would be wonderful. The dough is always the most difficult thing for me to get just right as I too like it crispy and not doughy. Looks very yummy.

My family loves to put together our own pizzas, but we use premade crusts, which are expensive. We would love to make homemade crusts in this beautiful deep dish pan. We like making shrimp pizza with alfredo sauce. Your idea for chicken, bacon ranch deep dish pizza sounds good, too.

I’m good with just about any kind of pizza, lol. But I do love onions, green peppers, black olives & sausage on a pizza. (I love Emerson Creek. If I could have everything in their Dogwood pattern I would be a happy camper, lol!)-I also commented on the giveaway, because when I entered at first, there was no place for comments here. Thanks!

I love to make homemade pizza, and the fact that this dish doesn’t contain harmful materials is good because I worry about chemicals etc… getting in the food.

Thanks for the review. I have one piece of Emerson Creek Pottery and I love it. I do make pizza, but I haven’t made a deep-dish pizza yet, probably because I don’t have the right pan. Love this unglazed ceramic one! I can imagine using it for other baked goods, too.
