If there is one thing I notice when I walk into someone’s home it is how their home smells. Sometimes the smell is good and sometimes it’s not-so-good. I like to aim for a better smelling home, but since I’m so busy with the holidays, it can be tough to remember to do something about it. I started using aromatherapy in my home and I wanted to share with you how I’ve use it to make my home smell better for the holidays.
How to Use Aromatherapy In Your Home During the Holidays
Aromatherapy Diffuser
One of my favorite ways to use aromatherapy is in my diffuser. All it takes is a few drops of Nature’s Bounty® Earthly Elements™ essential oils in my aromatherapy diffuser to create an awesome and unforgettable aroma in my home. I mean anyone can put a couple of drops in a diffuser, it’s truly that simple!
Over the Stove Boil
If you don’t have a diffuser and still want to make your home smell good, consider adding a few drops to a pot of water on the stove. You can bring the pot to a boil and then just keep it on warm. Of course, you’ll want to keep an eye on it at all times. This technique can really help to make your home smell good for the holidays.
Make a Spray
One of my favorite ways to freshen up my home with aromatherapy is by making my own “spray” mixture. Just a few drops of Peppermint or Eucalyptus and my home is smelling awesome and ready for guests to come over!
