Functional and fashionable, the Sloan Hi WR will take you where you need to go. This alpine hiker boot features a water resistant upper, durable metal speed hooks and thick rubber lug sole, along with a padded tongue and collar and Flexastride memory foam insole for maximum comfort.
My hubs loves that the Lugz Sloan HI WR boots are water resistant. While he doesn’t necessarily wade around in water, he is out in the weather a lot and steps in the occasional mud hole. Who doesn’t want their feet to stay dry? They have a thick rubber lugged sole that he loves because he says they keep him from slipping in wet grass and mud. However, you ladies may have another opinion on the lugged sole. Those deep ridges hold a ton of mud that ends up on my floor. We are currently working on getting him to pull them off at the door 
The Lugz Sloan HI WR is seriously a nice looking all around boot! Since getting them, he has had several of his friends asking where to find them at. They love how they look and he can’t stop talking about how comfortable they are!

Thanks for the good review. These sound like they would be really good for my hubby with the comfort level. At his job which is construction, he walks thousands and thousands of steps a day and always has trouble finding shoes that don’t hurt him by the end of the day. These may be a great option for him.

My Husband works in a factory and those think rubber soles will be great to prevent slipping in the slick flooring and it’s great that they are comfortable for being on your feet all day. I love that they are water resistant too, he gets out in the elements as well .
These look really well-made & pretty nice to look at, too. My niece has some Lugz & she loves them, so I’m sure the men’s boots are quality shoes, too.

yes..these LUGZ are made for men…but women can wear them as well…even if they’re not ‘outdoorsy’ but library geeks as well! LOL!!!!

These are so super for my brother! It does get so icy and slippery here. Look at that great tread! It’s great that they a re water-resistant too, because once the snow melts, it turns into puddles of slush, ugh! Lugz are great for anyone!

OK, you said the magic words for my husband to love these boots: water resistant and memory foam insole. His current boots (by another brand) have been worn out and in need of replacement for a while in my opinion, but he says that he can’t find anything that has BOTH of those features when he has looked (in his limited shopping, I’m sure). I will gladly pass the information from your review along to him! Perhaps you have helped me solve two problems: his “inability” to find new boots and my dislike of his raggedy old boots being worn everywhere! These good looking boots would make a great replacement.

These are really great looking boots, I love that they have memory foam inside! My husband is also really tuff on his boots, he pretty much lives outdoors too. We usually buy his boots twice a year so we will have to give these a try next time!
This review makes me want to get my husband a pair. He is like your husband-always outside, whether we’re hiking or just tinkering around the house. I appreciate your honesty about the boots and that they hold dirt, mud etc. in the soles but he has many shoes that do the same. I’ve also tried to get him to remove his shoes before coming in the door but I get he gets frustrated cause he’s going in and out constantly where as when I come in, I’m usually in for a greater length of time. These shoes sound comfortable with the memory foam and my husband complains about his feet hurting a lot since he broke his toes several years ago. It’s nice to know of a brand that I was not aware of so I can pass this info on to himl

Great review. I love that they are water resistant. My husband is a truck driver, and has to get in and out of truck for his stops, and these would absolutely be fantastic for him. Would definitely help keep his feet dry.
