There are so many kinds of makeup out on the market that one never FOR SURE knows what is going to work until they get it home and tries it out. Sure, there are some department stores that will apply the makeup for you to see if you like it, but are you buying something that honestly is heavy, caky or poorly designed? You won’t know until you wear it a few times. Foundation is complicated and very hard to find the ONE that you will wear forever.
Luminess Air AirSupremacy is a foundation that you can apply by spraying it directly on your face or you can use a foam applicator. The foundation is light feeling on your face, but it covers very well with a luminous finish, meaning it looks a little wet, but makes you feel radiant.
When I apply it, and I’ve tried it several ways, I have found that if I spray the foundation all around my face (don’t hold it more than 5-6 inches from your face) and then go back and pat it with the sponge applicator, it makes a better, more evened out appearance. I also use a fluffy foundation or blush brush to even it out as well.
I then apply a top coat of powder to set it, otherwise it feels sticky all day. Personally, I found out that I touch my face all day long and I don’t like to have splotchy foundation because of the touching.
Also, if you use it make sure to have excellent lighting so that the color matches. The color does change (like most foundations) and takes about 20 minutes to see if it matches correctly. It’s just the way foundation is. I have used LOTS of different brands and they are all the same. You have to have patience if you’re going to find the correct color. Fortunately, Luminess Air AirSupremacy has only a few colors to choose from.
What’s really cool is that they can tell you what blush will look the best with the foundation color that you’ve chosen. I received a kit that had two foundation colors, a blush and a fluffy foundation brush. I chose colors one and three and then I was told which blush would look better with these colors. Normally, I like a darker blush, one that is not PINK (for fear of looking like a picture from the old days that was colored after the fact). I went against my instinct and chose the pink (not the brown) and was very surprised at the outcome. A little goes a long way with the blush and all you need is a small spray of it. After spraying, take a blender sponge and blend it in (or use a blush brush). The color is subtle and very pretty.
Luminess Air AirSupremacy Spray-On Cosmetics are worth trying. Everyone is different and “likes” a different thing on their face, however, with as light as this makeup feels, the coverage is second to none. I don’t have to use but very little spray and it covers my freckles very well. Try it. You’ll be happy you did!
