There are so many products for making your eye lashes longer. I’ve been looking for something for quite a while. I have a thyroid condition and a lot of my hair has fell out, including my eyelashes. I’ve tired the mascaras that promise extra production. I’ve tried the mascara products that promise to make your eyelashes longer with “extensions”, but nothing has seemed to work.
I was recently sent a different kind of product. The product is RevivLash Lash & Brow Stimulating Serum. I have some concerns using a serum such as this because when stimulating growth, could there be painful side effects? Will I have discoloration on my eyes or eyelids? Will I get ingrown eyelashes?
About RevivLash
“Use RevivLash™ to significantly help improve the appearance of lash and brow density, strength, natural color and overall health. It can work similarly to prescription-brand Latisse®, but our serum is prostaglandin-free and can work when Latisse “tops out.” “
The RevivLash Serum comes in a container that looks like mascara. And I thought that it was going to be a mascara-ish product, but I was wrong. It has a wand in it like you see with lip gloss. The instructions say to apply morning and night in your lashline.
Ok, I immediately tried it on my face. Of course, I had just washed it (as per directions), so my lashes were clean of makeup and the day’s grime. The serum is clear and it’s cold, goes on smoothly. The funny part is trying to apply to the second eye while the first eye is drying. Admittingly, I used a hair dryer on my eyes! It’s a sight if you’re not expecting to see it (my husband laughed loudly).
This RevivLash serum doesn’t mess with the make up I use. I can apply it under my eyeshadow, mascara and eyeliner. My eyes aren’t sensitive to it, so it doesn’t burn my eyes or the skin around them. That in itself was a relief. There are so many products out there that will burn your eyes and the eyes are the most sensitive places on the body.
I’ve been using the serum for a little over a week and I haven’t seen a huge improvement, but there has been some. The instructions say use for at least three weeks before you’d see results. But, I’m optimistic that there will be significant results.
RevivLash Lash & Brow Serum seems to be a great product that squashed all my fears about lash regrowth serums. I haven’t had any side effects and look forward to my full results. Check out their website for more information at RevivSerums.
