Movie Collections Everyone in the Family Can Enjoy

Families have been watching and enjoying movies together for generations. Instead of going to the theater, many families today gather in their homes to watch their favorite movies on DVD. When you want to compile a family-friendly DVD collection of your own, you should remember to include these movie favorites.

Movie Collections Everyone in the Family Can Enjoy

Disney

Disney creates some of the most memorable and entertaining family movies available on DVD today. Old favorites like Mickey Mouse and Fantasia join new family-friendly fun like Frozen and Tangled to create an entertainment package that will be a hit with movie watchers of all ages. Disney also creates movies like Old Yeller and the Princess Diaries that, while not animated, still provide compelling storylines and hours of entertainment for your entire family.

The Sound of Music

Created and released more than four decades ago, the Sound of Music is still a family favorite that people today love and know by heart. They sing along with songs like “Edelweiss” and “How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?” while watching a movie that has been entertaining families for years. When you compile a DVD collection for your own family, you can make it complete by including this entertainment staple.

Online Cartoon Collections

The Internet proves one of the best places to shop for DVDs for your family. Rather than shop at local bookstores or big box retailers, you can find vast collections of DVDs for sale online. The internet is also a great place to find old family favorites that everyone enjoys. Some retailers, like Pristine Sales, offer collections of movies. That way, you can buy the whole series at once, instead of individually. Plus, many times, the selection online is far greater than in many brick and mortar stores. They also are typically sold for lower prices than what you would pay if you could find them in local stores.

The Wizard of Oz

Another decades old family favorite, the Wizard of Oz is the quintessential coming of age film that every child can relate to at some point in life. Whether your family has seen the movie repeatedly or not, you cannot consider any movie collection complete without adding this movie first. It has been retouched and digitalized so that you and other movie fans can continue to enjoy it for generations in the future.

Many families enjoy watching movies together. When you want to foster a love of movies with your kids and other loved ones, you can compile a collection of DVDs that will keep everyone entertained for hours. These important movies are considered to be quintessential components to any DVD collection.
